The Runtalya Marathon or Run (“Runtalya Marathon”) is organized by Başarı Turizm İthalat İhracat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (“Organizer”), located at Perge Boulevard No: 86 (Mersis No: 0146014866700014) under its travel agency license with the brand 'Turset.' The event is hosted and organized locally with the support of collaboration partners and service providers.
Registration and Participation Rules
1. Amateurs and professional runners born on or before March 3, 2007, who are in good health, can participate in the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 10K Team courses. The minimum age for the 5K course is 16.
2. The Organizer may request a health report if deemed necessary.
3. The above age limit also applies to participants using wheelchairs, provided they have obtained special permission from the Organizer.
4. The Organizer is not responsible if national or local laws prevent participants from entering the Runtalya Marathon.
5. Each event ticket or registration entitles one individual participant only.
6. The Organizer reserves the right to verify all participant identification information. Registrations with incorrect identity information will be deemed invalid, and the Organizer reserves the right to disqualify and deny entry to the event.
7. The Organizer reserves the right to limit the total number of participants and to change registration or ticket sales dates, cancellation, and refund policies. Participants will be informed of such changes via www.tursetsports.com.
8. For special category races, the Organizer reserves the right to set a minimum and maximum number of participants, which will be announced on www.tursetsports.com. If the minimum number of participants is not met, the Organizer may cancel or postpone the Runtalya Marathon.
9. 10K Corporate Team: Teams in the Corporate category must be composed of employees from the same company. A Corporate Team must consist of at least 5 members, with no upper limit on the number of participants. Teams with fewer than 5 members will not be evaluated in the Team Run category; they may either participate outside of classification or, upon request, be transferred to the 10K Individual course. A team captain must be chosen regardless of gender or workplace position. The team's score will be determined by averaging the finish times of the top 3 performers from the team.
10. The Runtalya Marathon will take place solely at the discretion of the Organizer. All decisions regarding the event by the Organizer are final and will not be subject to any correspondence.
11. To register and access all information related to the event, participants should visit www.tursetsports.com. Contact details provided on the ticket/registration document will be used for necessary updates and notifications.
12. Participant data such as name, surname, nationality, age group, and club/company affiliation (if specified) will be published in participant lists and results on www.tursetsports.com for up to 5 years. The publication time and place for event start lists and results will be announced on www.tursetsports.com.
13. Participation in the Runtalya Marathon or Run is personal; race numbers and participation rights are non-transferable.
14. Participants may withdraw from the event at any time before the Runtalya Marathon. In case of withdrawal, even due to force majeure, the participation fee will not be refunded, nor can the entry right be transferred to another person.
15. Registration for the Runtalya Marathon can be completed on www.tursetsports.com by paying the participation fee using a credit or debit card. All taxes and fees are included in the payment. Once the payment is made, the registration is complete. Payments made with credit or debit cards are binding, non-deferrable, non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and non-refundable under local law. If the Organizer cancels or changes the date, city, course, or distance of the event, the participation fee will not be refunded for any reason. Upon successful payment, a contractual relationship based on these Participation Terms is established directly between the Organizer and the Participant.
16. The Organizer reserves the right to adjust and change the participation fee locally during the Registration Period (from the start of ticket sales to the closing date).
17. Travel expenses and other costs related to participation in the Runtalya Marathon will not be covered for any reason. The Organizer is not responsible for any travel or accommodation costs, cancellations, or changes resulting from changes or cancellations made by the Organizer.
18. The participation fee includes only the race number, timing chip, and the right to participate in the Runtalya Marathon.
19. The decision to award prizes and recognition is solely at the discretion of the Organizer. If prizes are awarded, the Organizer reserves the right to change, cancel, and/or replace any or all prizes with similar value alternatives. Cash alternatives will not be provided, and prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable. All decisions by the Organizer regarding prizes are final.
20. If a prize-winning participant fails to claim their prize within the specified period (the first 15 days after the race end date), they will forfeit the prize, and the Organizer reserves the right to determine an alternative winner.
21. The Organizer reserves the right to change these Participation Terms at any time, and changes will be published on www.tursetsports.com.
22. If the Organizer deems the conditions unsafe or unsuitable for any reason outside their control, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel, modify, unilaterally terminate the contract, change the date, start time, course, distance, and/or facilities associated with the Runtalya Marathon without any liability or obligation, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The Organizer may cancel or change the race date or route due to terrorism, public unrest, national mourning, or serious terror threats.
23. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify and remove a Participant from the Runtalya Marathon at any time for non-compliance with these Participation Terms or for any behavior deemed disruptive or damaging to a person, property, or the reputation of the Organizer, including but not limited to defamatory or terrorist-related social media posts, providing false information on entry forms, unsportsmanlike conduct, racing with an unofficial race number or bib, transferring an official race number or bib to another person, pacing anon-registered runner, and for health and safety reasons. Disqualified Participants will not receive a refund, and their results will be removed from official records.
24. The Participant acknowledges that the Organizer has the sole discretion to postpone or cancel the event if the conditions are deemed unsafe on race day. In the event of postponement or cancellation due to natural disasters, terrorism, state of emergency, fire, strike threats or actions, labor shortages, strikes, riots, wars, public uprisings, floods, inevitable loss of life, racecourse conditions, or any other reasons beyond the Organizer's control or upon request by local authorities, the Organizer will not refund any participation fees or other expenses.
25. The Organizer or third parties authorized by the Organizer have the right to capture and use audio recordings, video recordings, and photographs from the Runtalya Marathon, including your name, image, voice, performance, and biography material for any purpose (commercial,marketing, promotional, news, or otherwise) in all media, worldwide, forever, in accordance with local written law.
26. The Organizer holds the rights to use, publish, display, reproduce, and/or present all visual and audio materials related to the Runtalya Marathon on radio, television, cinemas, events, data carriers, or any media, worldwide. The Organizer has the right to make modifications, interruptions, edits, or other changes to the visual and audio materials and to use the modified materials without restriction. The Organizer is authorized to transfer these rights to any third party. By accepting these Participation Terms, you grant the Organizer the right to use these visual and audio materials as described above, and the sole consideration for this comprehensive rights assignment will be the opportunity to participate in and potentially win the Runtalya Marathon.
27. The Organizer (including its affiliates and partners) has permission to use your registration data for promotional, commercial, and/or marketing purposes related to the Runtalya Marathon, in accordance with local written law.
28. The term “Personal Data” in this section refers to all data related to you that is held in connection with your name. You confirm that the Personal Data you entered in connection with the Runtalya Marathon is accurate and up to date.
29. Due to the Organizer’s global operations, your personal data may be transferred to countries outside your country of residence, in compliance with all relevant data protection regulations. Personal Data will be used only for purposes related to the Runtalya Marathon for the necessary duration, including a period of 5 years after the completion of the event for distributing prizes or fulfilling tax-related or other legal investigations.
30. Winners and/or participants who place will be required to participate in reasonable promotional activities related to the Runtalya Marathon. In the event of winning or placing, the name, surname, nationality, age group, and club/company affiliation of the relevant participants may be retained indefinitely and shared with the public for promotional and other purposes.
31. The Organizer and its contractors may contact participants via email, phone, or other means in connection with the Runtalya Marathon or other commercial and non-commercial activities. Participants have the right to request the modification, anonymization, and/or deletion of these Personal Data, in whole or in part, at any time. In such cases, the Organizer will ensure that the data are deleted, modified, and/or anonymized as soon as practicable.
32. Requests for delayed participation after the race start will not be accepted. Loss of the timing chip or race number makes participation impossible, and the Organizer will not be responsible for non-participation in such cases, nor will the participation fee be refunded.
33. If a Participant is disqualified for any reason by any authority, the Organizer is not obliged to publish this information.
34. Participants decide to join the Runtalya Marathon at their own discretion and responsibility, determining their physical condition. The Organizer is not responsible for any medical/health issues of the Participant.
35. All choices regarding race categories are the responsibility of the participant and do not bind the Organizer. In the event that a participant injures themselves while performing actions related to the Runtalya Marathon, the Organizer is not responsible. The Organizer may, if deemed necessary, refer the participant to a healthcare facility. All expenses related to medical care that may be applied to the participant at the healthcare facility are outside the responsibility of the Organizer and are to be borne by the participant.
36. During the Registration Period, the Organizer reserves the right to add new race tracks, make changes to existing tracks, and provide new information related to the tracks. Any information provided by the Organizer regarding the tracks serves a specific informational purpose and is not binding on the Organizer.
37. It is mandatory to comply with the instructions of the Organizer and Race Personnel members. In the event of any misconduct that disturbs the smooth running of the Runtalya Marathon or jeopardizes the safety of Participants, the Organizer is authorized to ban or disqualify the relevant individual from the Runtalya Marathon at any time. Health personnel have the discretion to make decisions regarding participants. With your participation, you and all reasons related to you will not be considered the responsibility of the organizer in any way. You confirm that the Organizer, Race Personnel, or partners will not assume any responsibility if you are injured. If you cause any damage, the Organizer reserves all legal rights.
38. The Organizer may create distance differences related to the race, change the distances of the run, and thus the nature of the run represented by the relevant federation. The Participant agrees to comply with the Organizer's competition and safety rules for their own and everyone else's well-being. The Organizer or its Race Personnel may refuse the participation of the individual at any time. The Organizer cannot be held responsible for failing to fulfill or delaying the obligations under the Participation Terms for any reason other than itself. The Organizer may, at its sole discretion, provide parking, storage, clothing changing, and/or cleaning facilities at the Runtalya Marathon venue. However, the use of these facilities is specifically the responsibility of the Participant, and the Organizer will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of these facilities.
39. All official procedures related to the Runtalya Marathon will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the city in which they are conducted.
40. Additional fees such as additional license fees and/or Athlete Insurance Fee that may arise in all official institutions related to the Runtalya Marathon are not included or will be included in the registration fee to be paid. Fees requested by the Federation and/or relevant official institutions are paid additionally. It is not the responsibility of the Organizer and is covered by the participant.
41. Acceptance of these terms and completion of the registration process alone is not sufficient to participate in the Runtalya Marathon. By accepting these terms, the Participant obtains the right to participate by personally coming to the Runtalya Marathon registration area on the dates announced by the Organizer, receiving the participation kit, and reading and signing the Organization Registration, Liability, Risk, and Indemnity Waiver Agreement.
The Participant declares that they have read the Runtalya Marathon Registration and Participation Terms, which consist of a total of 7 main clauses and sub-clauses, with their own free will. By accepting that the writing font sizes and language used are clear and understandable, and by accepting all the details in the Registration and Participation Terms and committing not to challenge any clause, they are registering for the race.

Fees for the 42K Marathon, 21K Half Marathon, and 10K courses:

Online registrations will close on March 31, 2025, at 23:59. No registrations can be made after online registrations close. In case the quota is filled, the registration may close earlier than the specified date.
For all courses, the fee for changing the course is 100₺. Course changes must be made by the latest deadline, which is March 31, 2025, 23:59, the closing time for online registrations.
Age Limit
Those born on or before April 3, 2008, who acknowledge having adequate health conditions, can participate in the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10 km run, and 10 km Team Run as both amateur and professional runners.
For the 5 km run, which will be held for the first time in 2025, participants born on or before April 3, 2009 (16 years old) are eligible to participate
10K Team Course Rules

Liability and Insurance
Participants are responsible for any liability incurred during the marathon. The organizing company, the entity conducting the marathon, and the city of Antalya are exempt from any liability, including accidents, stolen clothing or other equipment. Medical check-ups are particularly recommended in the sports field. Participants are considered to have declared that they do not have any health impediments if they start the race.
Disqualification
During the Runtalya Marathon, the Organizer reserves the right to disqualify and remove a Participant at its sole discretion for not complying with these Participation Terms or, where applicable, for disruptive behavior at any point during the Runtalya Marathon, in pre-event activities related to the Runtalya Marathon, behavior that may be disturbing to a person, property, or the Organizer's reputation, making accusatory, offensive, or terrorism-related posts about the organizer or the event on social media, providing incorrect information on entry forms, engaging in unsportsmanlike conduct, racing with an unofficial bib number or race tag, racing with an assigned bib number or race tag of another person or another event, transferring an official bib number or race tag to another person, attempting to obtain this number or tag from another person, making someone run as a rabbit athlete who is not registered for the Runtalya Marathon during the race, and disqualification and removal for any type of illegal or inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to, health, safety reasons. If a winning Participant is disqualified, their prize rights will be forfeited, and/or the prize will be donated or given to an alternative winner. Participants disqualified for any reason will not be refunded. Individuals disqualified from the Runtalya Marathon will be excluded from official results.
Classification
Classification is valid for the Marathon and Half Marathon. Evaluation will be done separately for men and women in the age categories of 18-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.No classification will be made according to age category in the 10 km race.
Race Rules
The Runtalya Marathon will take place within the framework of IAAF rules. Race and route control will be carried out by the Turkish Athletics Federation (TAF); official referees and classification team located at the route/finish line.
Participants must present identification and sign the waiver to receive their race kits. Each participant must personally collect their own kit. No one other than the participant can collect a kit that does not belong to them.
Distribution of bib numbers, measurement chips, and bags will take place on the Friday and Saturday before the race. The official race (bib) number cannot be transferred. Changing the official competition (bib) number is grounds for disqualification.
There will be a total of 15 aid stations along the route, with aid stations approximately every 2.5 km from the 3rd km onward. Medical services are provided along the route. Portable toilets are available along the route on race day.
There will be no distribution/delivery of bib numbers or chips on the morning of the race.
Finish Line Closure
The closing time for the finish line for all races is 3:00 PM. After 3:00 PM, traffic resumes, and runners still on the course may continue running on the sidewalk, but their times will not be classified.
The Sweep Vehicle will follow behind the last runner.
Classification
Net time measurement will be done with disposable timing chips. Only the disposable timing chip distributed to participants at the registration area and kit delivery will be valid in the race. The timing chip must be used as instructed during chip distribution; otherwise, classification will not be possible. To be classified properly, runners must pass over mats located at the starting point, turning points, and finish line. More detailed information on this will be provided at the registration area. Bib numbers should not be crumpled, folded, and must be pinned at chest height with safety pins at designated points. Bib numbers cannot be exchanged or transferred to another runner.

Results will be announced on the www.tursetsports.com website starting from April 7, 2025, Monday.

Note: Only Official Runtalya Marathon bags will be accepted. The organizer is not responsible for lost items.
Special Beverages
Participants can submit their own special beverages during the registration process on April 4 and April 5, 2025.
Health Services
Health Recommendations:
Undergo a medical examination before the race. Individuals with respiratory and heart diseases should not participate in the marathon. Ensure you are well-rested and have had sufficient sleep before the race day. Have your breakfast early on the race morning and avoid alcoholic and carbonated drinks. Always wear sports shoes with socks. Applying cream to your toes will prevent blisters that may occur after the race. If you experience any health issues during the race, abandon the race and seek assistance from medical staff. Adequate training, fitness, and health are essential for a successful run. Participants are responsible for their health in this regard.
